A GIRL FROM DEHRADUN

We all know that India is a country of world’s some greatest women (Late Kalpana Chawala, Indira Nooyi, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw) but today we carsandgears.com are happy to share another real story of a girl from  Dehradun.

She is a N.R.I for us but she is set to become F1’s first ever female Team Principal. Existing team Principal Peter Sauber will retires before the end of next year after she will promoted to Team Principal Post

“I’ve always said that I don’t still want to be sitting on the pit wall on my 70th birthday,” Sauber, who will turn 69 in October, told Swiss newspaper Der Sonntag. “I already have my successor ready. Monisha Kaltenborn will be the new team boss that is certain. Exactly when she takes over remains open. “Monisha has worked for us for 13 years, in various management positions. I am convinced that she will do well as a Team Principal.”
